Retreat Shaped by Nature’s Rhythm

Eha began with a question: how do we return to what matters? Rooted in Estonia’s raw landscapes and ancient rhythms, the retreat was created not an escape, but an offering, a place to reconnect, restore and remember.

Guided by seasonal nuance, architectural clarity and holistic care, Eha brings together a community of practitioners, makers and thinkers who believe in slow evolution, not quick fixes. Every detail is intentional. Every offering is a step toward lasting transformation.

Rooted in nature

Our philosophy

Wellness is a lived rhythm, not a prescribed regime. Nature is not a backdrop, it’s a collaborator. Design should create clarity, not distraction. Food is ritual, medicine and connection. True transformation begins in stillness.

Seasonal Living

We embrace the wisdom of seasonal transitions, tailoring our experiences to nature’s cycles. Whether through food, movement, or restorative rituals, each retreat is designed to align with the body’s needs, creating balance and renewal through seasonal awareness and adaptation.

Simplicity with Intention

True luxury lies in the essential. Free from excess, our spaces, experiences, and meals are designed with purpose offering only what truly nourishes. Every detail is considered, creating an environment where clarity, rest, and restoration naturally emerge.

Sustainable Wellbeing

Wellness is not a moment, but a lifelong journey. At Eha, we create lasting transformation through sustainable practices, honoring local traditions, supporting regenerative systems, and offering tools that allow guests to carry their experience forward, long beyond their stay.

Founders

Eha was founded by Eva Maran and Sonny Aswani, united by a shared reverence for nature, heritage and holistic wellbeing.

For Eva, Hiiumaa is a homecoming. Her grandfather was born on the island, and Eha continues that lineage with meaning and care. As co-founder of Shroomwell, Eva blends ancestral forest wisdom with modern wellness, shaping a new path for Estonia’s health culture.

Sonny brings a global perspective, shaped by his role as Honorary Consul of Estonia to Singapore and rooted in a family history of healing. His great-grandfather was a traditional healer; a quiet legacy that informs Eha’s ethos.

Together, they’ve created a meeting place of traditions and innovation. Eha honours local craftsmanship, draws from island-grown produce and respects ancestral healing as deeply as science-backed wellness. It is more than a retreat, it is an invitation to slow down, listen to the land and return to a gentler way of being.

Development

The retreat was developed in collaboration with leading architects, ecologists and local advisors. Every structure, path and planting were placed with intention, shaped by a belief in low-impact, high-integrity building. The result: a retreat that feels grown, not built, a true part of Hiiumaa.

Focus on Local Community

Eha is woven into the fabric of Hiiumaa. From staff to suppliers, the retreat works closely with local artisans, growers and knowledge-keepers, not only to support the community, but to ensure that every guest experience reflects the richness of this place and people.
